On March 28, 2023, Elsevier released the 2022 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. By releasing the list of " Highly Cited Chinese Researchers", Elsevier deeply analyzes and identifies Chinese scholars with different scientific research careers in various disciplines from multiple dimensions and displays their scientific research achievements.
A total of 5,216 scholars from 504 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions were listed in the 2022 " Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list, covering 10 subject areas and 84 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education. The editor-in-chief, Academician Liu Ming, Deputy editor-in-chief Professor Zhang Yuanbo, editorial board member Academician Liu Yichun, Academician Peng Lianmao and other 7 members of the editorial board were selected.
